This is who we are

All this talk of “we” and “us” is a bit of a misnomer. The CocoaBots are the brainchild and professional identity of Tony Arnold — a software developer & designer from Newcastle, Australia. The ‘Bots have been around informally since 2007, and were formally established as an Australian business in December, 2009.

This is what we believe in

• You need to have passion for software design and development to be able to do it well
• The correct answer to any problem is the simplest, most maintainable answer
• Applications not only have to work well, they must be attractive and pleasing to use — user experience is critical to the success of any app
• Being able to support our apps is just as important as building the next great feature — we take our time and get things right
• You have to be a good egg (also known as the treat others as you’d like to be treated rule)
• Building apps for Mac and iOS is great fun!
